Mathew Grainger practises corporate and commercial law, with a focus on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and securities. Mathew works on both cross-border and Canadian deals concerning debt and equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, with particular emphasis on regulatory filings and public company disclosures.

- Represented a lithium exploration and development company in its $16.5 million flow-through unit financing.
- Represented a private potash company in its $10 million private issuance of flow-through shares.
- Acted for an independent power generation company in its public offering of $350 million aggregate principal amount of subordinated notes under a base shelf prospectus, as supplemented by a prospectus supplement
- Represented a resource company in its $13 million business combination.
- Acted as counsel in a reverse take-over and a concurrent brokered private placement of subscription receipts.
