Biography
Courtney Floyd serves as counsel in Norton Rose Fulbright's Denver office. Admitted to practice law in both Texas and Colorado, Courtney concentrates her practice on all aspects of multi-jurisdictional commercial, mixed-use, multi-family, retail, sporting industry, entertainment, healthcare, technology, hospitality and senior living real estate acquisitions and dispositions, including real estate development, real estate and construction finance and private equity, credit facilities, and operation of improved and unimproved real estate property, equity investment and joint ventures, loan modifications, foreclosures, and related remedial matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Courtney provided litigation services to a wide array of industries. In her role as a litigation advisor, she represented clients in a variety of jurisdictions in multi-party complex commercial and construction defect litigation matters. Courtney routinely represented clients in all aspects of pre-trial work, jury trials and alternative dispute resolution.

Representation of mixed-use developer in connection with multi-purpose sporting industry, entertainment and recreational facility with food hall, public plaza, retail and multi-family aspects on approximately 50 acres of real property.
Representation of high-end developer in connection with multiple projects, including a three phase mixed-use development with a total estimated value of approximately $364 million, including acquisition, financing, development, construction financing, loan modifications and disposition.
Representation of multiple high-end developers in connection with projects including the sale of a $280 million portfolio; and the acquisition, financing and disposition of projects with values of $216 million, $195 million, $100 million.
Representation of developer in connection with a 225-key full service hotel with 30,000 square foot conference center with a value of $52 million.
Representation of worldwide leader in energy solutions in a market sale of assets valued at $63 million.
Representation of developer in connection with state of the art master planned community (including velodrome, golf course and related facilities and centers for athlete development) including the acquisition, financing and development with a value of $47 million.
Representation of multiple healthcare systems in connection with both the acquisition and disposition of healthcare systems, healthcare facilities and physician group practices.
