Andy Crowder
Biography
Over nearly 15 years in products liability and complex commercial litigation, Andy Crowder has built a practice representing manufacturers and businesses across diverse sectors—including automotive, aviation, energy distribution, chemical manufacturing, food and beverage, and pet food. Andy leads NRF’s Automotive Business Group, manages the firm’s relationships with key Fortune 200 clients and excels in high-stakes disputes involving technical and scientific evidence.
Known for practical strategy and crisp execution, Andy harnesses cutting-edge, AI-driven workflows to streamline discovery, refine case themes and achieve faster, more cost-effective outcomes—without sacrificing rigor or results. Andy has successfully presented to juries in both state and federal courts, argued appeals before state and federal appellate courts and the Minnesota Supreme Court and navigated complex arbitrations nationwide.
Andy began his legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable Thomas L. Ludington of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. Before law school, Andy taught elementary school with Teach for America in Chicago, and his commitment to service continues through an active pro bono practice focused on protecting civil rights. In recognition of those pro bono efforts, Andy was named a Minnesota Attorney of the Year in both 2023 and 2025.
