He is a respected dispute resolution advisor on claims management, mediation, expert determination, litigation and International Chamber of Commerce international arbitrations. He also recently acted on a number of high profile construction disputes and mining arbitrations in Western Australia.

Glen began his career at Norton Rose Fulbright in 2004 and rose to the level of senior associate in the projects and construction team. He returns to the firm from Clyde & Co, where he has held several domestic and global leadership roles, including head of projects and construction in Australia, chair and executive of global committees, and client relationship partner for several major clients. Over his career he has worked in Singapore, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Perth and Sydney.

David McElveney

David also returns to Norton Rose Fulbright, having previously been a partner of its predecessor firm for a period of 10 years, heading the Sydney construction and engineering team as it then was.. A well-respected practitioner in the projects industry, David brings more than 30 years’ experience as a construction law and international arbitration advisor. He has worked primarily in Australia and the Middle East. David joins as a senior consultant from Clyde & Co, where he served on the APAC board, was head of the Asia-Pacific projects and construction group, and also head of the group in Australia.

Chloe Blackwell

Chloe Blackwell joins the firm as a special counsel in the projects and construction team. She is an experienced construction lawyer who regularly acts on behalf of contractors in the infrastructure, energy and resources sectors, and has earned a reputation for being a talented and commercially astute practitioner who is equally adept in contentious and non-contentious matters. Chloe worked at Clyde & Co for nearly 10 years and before that held various legal and commercial roles within Leighton Contractors (now CIMIC Group).
Norton Rose Fulbright chief executive partner in Australia, Alison Deitz, commented:

“It is tremendous to see senior projects and construction lawyers of Glen, David and Chloe’s calibre join the firm. Glen made a big impression on our partners and clients as he rose through the ranks at Norton Rose Fulbright. We maintained a close relationship with him over the intervening years and watched as he established himself as a respected advisor to leading infrastructure and construction companies.

“David is likewise a popular Norton Rose Fulbright alumnus and pillar of the projects and construction industry. He has led construction teams in Australia and the Middle East and advised on dozens of high profile transactions and disputes. The wealth of experience Glen, David and Chloe bring for our clients and partnership will significantly bolster our projects and construction offering.”

Glen Warwick commented:

“Returning as a partner to Norton Rose Fulbright feels like coming home. I’ve kept in touch with many of my former colleagues and have been impressed by the collegial and collaborative partnership they have grown. Norton Rose Fulbright’s full service offering will provide a range of benefits to my clients. David, Chloe and I look forward to working with the firm’s major projects, infrastructure, energy and resources partners in Australia and around the world as we help clients seize opportunities from the global energy transition.”
