Norton Rose Fulbright advises First Sponsor and Innovative Construction & Development (ICD) on City Tattersalls redevelopment

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised First Sponsor and ICD on the redevelopment of the City Tattersalls Club in Sydney, Australia.

This project is a key step in their expansion into the Sydney market. The development involves revitalising the Club’s heritage-listed lower level premises, including ground floor retail, a bar, restaurants, and a ballroom, and the construction of a 50-storey tower featuring 241 high-end residential apartments, a 110-room hotel, a commercial fitness centre and event spaces.

The firm worked closely with First Sponsor and ICD on all aspects of drafting, tendering and negotiating the design and construction contract with the builder, Richard Crookes Constructions Pty Limited (RCC), as well as drafting and negotiating a number of access deeds with adjoining neighbours to the development.
