Biography
Michael Muratore is a commercial and technology lawyer based in Sydney.
Michael advises on various forms of procurement and tendering arrangements and has a particular focus on projects involving complex contractual models, outsourcing and technology exploitation and licensing. He is also experienced in respect of privacy, data protection, digital information security and critical infrastructure matters.
Michael has in-house and private practice experience across a wide range of corporate, commercial, intellectual property, and technology matters. This experience has been gained acting for early-stage start-ups through to established multinationals in industries including digital media, e-Commerce, mobile, fintech, telecommunications, software and technology, consumer goods, medical devices, renewable energy, wearables and health.
Michael also has deep experience acting for Commonwealth and State Government clients to provide commercial, procurement, probity and regulatory advice on complex, high-value and high-profile IT projects and services contracts. A recent highlight was acting on two mission critical procurements underpinning Australian electoral processes. This extends to constitution of panel arrangements, and whole of government contractual frameworks.
