Biography

Annie Tran is an associate in our business law group and capital markets team. She has a general corporate and commercial law practice, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, capital markets and commercial transactions.

Annie assists clients across various industries with a range of domestic and cross-border transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, asset and share purchases and sales, divestitures, corporate restructuring and debt and equity financing.  She also advises clients on corporate governance, continuous disclosure and other general corporate and commercial matters. 

Before joining us, Annie was an associate in the corporate group and banking and financial services group at a leading national law firm.

  • Represented Parkland Corporation in its US$500 million senior unsecured note offering
  • Represented Wolf Midstream Canada LP in its inaugural C$600 million senior unsecured note offering
  • Represented Athabasca Oil Corporation in its inaugural C$200 million senior unsecured note offering
  • Represented a leading oil producer in its C$1 billion investment grade debt offering
  • Represented a syndicate of dealers in the US$1.5 billion debt offering by a leading oil and gas producer 
  • Represented a syndicate of dealers in the C$500 million debt offering by a leading oil and gas producer
  • Represented a syndicate of dealers in the C$400 million investment grade debt offering by a midstream energy assets operator

  • Represented various independent insurance brokerages in the sale of their businesses to strategic buyers
