Biography

Larry Clore, Of Counsel in the employment and labor section, has been in the firm's Houston office since 1971. He has been continuously engaged in representing management in all types of labor and employment law matters, including litigation under federal and state statutes regulating employment, litigation of miscellaneous employment torts, representation of employers before state and federal administrative agencies regulating employment and labor matters, and counseling employers with regard to such matters since 1971. In addition, Larry has handled numerous traditional labor law matters, including contract negotiations with unions and elections under the National Labor Relations Act.

Larry has extensive experience in counseling and litigation under:

Larry has particularly extensive experience in the health care industry and has had substantial experience in the construction, retail, funeral, financial services, petroleum, and manufacturing industries.

While in law school, Larry was an editor of the Texas Law Review and a member of Chancellors and the Order of the Coif. Following his graduation from law school, he served two years in the United States Army Medical Services Corps. He was admitted to practice law in Texas in 1969 and in various federal courts in 1972.
