Focus on LGBT

Welcome to PRIDE at Norton Rose Fulbright

PRIDE is a network of LGBT personnel and their Allies at Norton Rose Fulbright US LLP that aims to create an inclusive environment for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender employees as well as to develop relationships with client networks and the wider LGBT community.


Our objectives

  • creating a more inclusive and accepting environment for LGBT individuals
  • engaging Allies of the LGBT community
  • encouraging the recruitment, retention, advancement, and professional development of LGBT talent
  • supporting the practice’s business by developing contacts with clients who are members of the LGBT community
  • providing opportunities to participate in volunteering and pro bono initiatives that support the LGBT community
  • providing guidance to management on the development and implementation of LGBT inclusive policies
  • creating a dynamic LGBT community in the practice


The chair of the Pride Network is Mark A. Robertson (New York). The vice chair Rachel Rosenfeld (Washington, DC).


Initiatives and activities

Our initiatives and activities focus on promoting our mission and objectives in several key areas, including:


Social and professional development

  • holding meetings and other networking opportunities through which members of Pride at Norton Rose Fulbright get to know each other
  • organizing annual firm-wide and office specific LGBT educational events to engage Allies


  • organizing firm-wide and office specific events for LGBT summer associates

Community outreach

  • partnering with clients and local organizations to provide pro bono and other community services for underserved minority communities in the cities where we work
  • participating in and sponsoring initiatives and activities of LGBT organizations
