Diversity Lab announced that Norton Rose Fulbright has met the 2022 – 2023 Mansfield Rule Certification 6.0 and Mansfield Certification Plus status, recognizing the firm's commitment to improving diversity in firm leadership.
The Mansfield Rule Certification 6.0 measures whether law firms have affirmatively considered at least 30 percent women, underrepresented racial/ethnic groups, LGBTIQ+ lawyers and lawyers with disabilities for leadership and governance roles, equity partner promotions, formal client pitch opportunities and senior lateral positions.
The Plus Certification indicates that the firm has met or exceeded the goal of at least 30 percent of diverse lawyer representation in a notable number of its current leadership roles and follows open and transparent policies, in addition to the baseline certification requirements.
The rigorous annual certification process includes data collection and reporting, accountability check-ins/audits and ongoing collaboration among participants through monthly knowledge sharing forums.
This is the fifth consecutive year Norton Rose Fulbright has achieved Mansfield Certification Plus status, and the firm is among 350 midsize and large firms committed to participating in the next certification process for 2023 – 2024.
