Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright represents Banco Santander on a medium-term pre-export finance facility agreement

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright's São Paulo office recently represented Banco Santander, S.A. on a medium-term pre-export finance facility extended to a major Brazilian commodities producer. The facility structure was focused in cross-border risk mitigation and achieved such status via a comprehensive security package, which included an offshore account, cash flow monitoring and the assignment of export receivables as collateral.

Both Brazilian and Spanish counsel were involved in the transaction.

The Norton Rose Fulbright team was led by José A. Cobeña and also included Charles Johnson and Diego Brandao (São Paulo).
