Norton Rose Fulbright partner inducted as Fellow of the American College of Bond Counsel

United States Press release - People September 2025

Norton Rose Fulbright public finance partner Kristen Savant (Dallas) has been inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Bond Counsel (ACBC).

Formed in 1995, ACBC recognizes lawyers in the practice of bond law who have earned outstanding reputations among peers for their “skill, experience and high standards of professional and ethical conduct."

Fellows must have more than a decade of substantial experience in bond law. Selection is based on a lawyer’s accomplishments and the legal knowledge they bring to financing transactions.

Kristen serves as bond and underwriters' counsel in tax exempt and taxable financing transactions for economic development corporations, cities, counties, school districts, junior college districts, water districts and special-purpose districts.

Notably, Kristen acted as bond counsel for the US$207 million Greater Texoma Utility Authority financing, which won the 2023 Bond Buyer Small Issuer Deal of the Year. The financing was used for the engineering and construction of an industrial wastewater treatment facility and the rehabilitation of an existing treatment plant for the City of Sherman, Texas to support a new semiconductor water fabrication plant.

Kristen was inducted at the National Association of Bond Lawyers’ annual conference and business meeting, The Workshop, on September 9 in Washington, DC.
