US lawyer lauded as a 2021 Minority Leader of Influence

The Los Angeles Business Journal recently honored public finance lawyer Victor Hsu as one of its Minority Leaders of Influence.

In its 2021 feature, the publication honored Victor among a select group of lawyers that are considered "particularly impactful on the legal scene while serving as trusted advisors in the LA region, along with maintaining the highest professional and ethical standards, and for contributions to the Los Angeles business and legal community at large."

Victor has more than three decades of experience as a California bond lawyer, with a practice focusing on public power and transportation. In 2019 he served as Bond Counsel to the San Diego Association of Governments on an innovative financing that was recognized by The Bond Buyer as its "Deal of the Year" for the Far West Region. In 2020 he served as Bond Counsel to the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority in connection with the prepayment of nearly US$1.8 billion of TIFIA Loans with the U.S. Department of Transportation.

Last year, Victor was inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Bond Counsel. He is also a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers and is a current and founding board member of Asian Americans in Public Finance, Inc.
