Dallas lawyer honored as an Individual DiversityFIRST Leadership Award winner

Ryan E. Manns (Dallas) has been honored with a DiversityFIRST Leadership Award by the Texas Diversity Council. He received the award at the annual Greater Dallas Best Practices and DiversityFIRST Awards Luncheon on October 17, 2018.

The Texas Diversity Council’s Individual DiversityFIRST Leadership Award is given annually to individuals who “demonstrate outstanding accomplishments in the promotion and advancement of diversity through inclusion and strong leadership.” The selected recipients advocate for inclusivity as well as make an impact on the community.

Manns recently served on the Steering Committee of the Texas Minority Counsel Program (TMCP), previously served as the Vice Chair of the Minority Lawyers Network and frequently mentors minority high school, college and law students who are interested in pursuing careers in the legal industry.

Manns, who focuses on bankruptcy and financial restructuring and insolvency law, also mentors his diverse colleagues across the US and frequently speaks on panels that look to attract diverse law students.
