Norton Rose Fulbright adds regulatory, compliance and investigations partner

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright today announced that Sharon Oded has joined its Amsterdam and London offices as a regulatory, compliance and investigations partner.

Sharon advises clients across all sectors on corporate compliance and criminal enforcement. His practice focuses on helping multinational corporations and financial institutions mitigate their regulatory compliance risks and respond to corporate incidents and crises.

Sharon has a wealth of experience in dealing with highly sensitive, multijurisdictional investigative matters concerning anti-bribery and corruption, fraud, competition and antitrust, export control and economic sanctions, anti-money laundering, data protection and cybersecurity. He advises corporations, board members and senior executives on cross-border investigations, criminal defence, regulatory compliance and related civil litigation. Sharon also supports clients with global compliance risk assessments, enhancement of global corporate compliance programmes and due diligence reviews in relation to mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures.

Sharon is professor of Corporate Compliance and Enforcement at the Rotterdam Institute of Law and Economics at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. He was formerly a research fellow at the Center for Law, Business and the Economy at the University of California, Berkeley. Sharon is also the Chairman of the Compliance Chamber, Institute for Financial Crime (IFFC) and a steering committee member of the Cambridge Forums: The Global Compliance Officers’ Forum.
