In their latest New York Law Journal commercial division update, former associate judge of the New York Court of Appeals George Bundy Smith and Chadbourne commercial litigation partner Thomas Hall discuss the scope of Section 487 of the New York Judiciary Law, which criminalizes and creates a civil cause of action fo rparties who have been harmed by a lawyer's intentional deceit or collusion in a judicial proceeding.
