Norton Rose Fulbright advises on US$400 million financing for Camposol S.A.

Global Press release - Business December 2025

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright represented the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and IDB Invest as lenders in a joint financing package for Camposol S.A., one of Peru's leading agricultural exporters. The transaction closed on December 4, 2025.

IFC and IDB Invest financed a total of US$280 million, each committing US$140 million through separate A/B loan structures, with US$100 million provided as A loans and US$40 million mobilized via Rabobank as B loans. Camposol received additional US$120 million from local banks.

The financing will strengthen Peru’s sustainable agribusiness by renewing blueberry crops and avocado plantations through initiatives that boost yields, improve pest resistance and enhance water-use efficiency.

Norton Rose Fulbright’s deal team included Jeremy Hushon, Micaela Garcia-Ribeyro (Washington, DC) and Daniel Salomon Sotomayor (New York).
