Profiles in Leadership Journal recognizes Norton Rose Fulbright associate with 2025 Veteran Leadership Award

Norton Rose Fulbright associate Juanmarcos Bañales (San Antonio) has been honored with the Veteran Leadership Award by Profiles in Leadership Journal. This annual award recognizes confident, determined and purpose-driven Veteran leaders who create lasting value for the communities and organizations they serve.

An accomplished veteran of the US Army, Juanmarcos’ distinguished military career began at the United States Military Academy at West Point and includes service as an Infantry Officer deployed to Iraq and as a Special Forces Officer deployed to Afghanistan.

Juanmarcos currently serves as the Co-Chair of the firm’s Veterans Network and on the Board of Governors of SA Youth, a San Antonio nonprofit organization whose primary focus is to provide education benefits and opportunities to disenfranchised youths and young adults. His practice at Norton Rose Fulbright focuses on a wide range of disputes including commercial litigation, mass torts and medical torts.

A quarterly publication, Profiles in Leadership Journal recognizes outstanding individuals whose leadership drives meaningful transformation within organizations and communities. Honorees will be profiled in the magazine's upcoming third quarter issue.
