Norton Rose Fulbright expands Houston corporate team with return of energy transactions partner

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright today announced that energy transactions lawyer Mark L. Jones has returned to the firm as a Houston-based partner in the corporate, M&A and securities practice.

Jones, who rejoins the firm from Baker Hostetler, has substantial experience in the energy, financial services, manufacturing, transportation and technology industries. He has served as lead counsel for more than 200 mergers and acquisitions transactions and more than 200 public and private securities offerings, with a significant portion of those transactions in the energy sector. He has served as outside general counsel for a number of public and private companies and takes a business-minded approach to his representation of his clients.

Licensed in Texas, Jones earned his law degree at the University of Texas School of Law and his bachelor's degree in accounting and business honors from the University of Texas.
