Biography

Peter defends clients in some of the largest mass tort lawsuits in the State of Texas. Whether litigation arising from an industrial explosion, a construction/manufacturing incident or a mass gathering tragedy, Peter works hand-in-hand with his clients from day 1 of the incident all the way through final case resolution. He knows how to preserve a site and handle the regulatory response. He also values the importance of developing a fulsome litigation defense strategy — one that must be executed beginning in the earliest moments of the initial crisis response. As a partner in the firm’s Environmental and Mass Tort team, Peter has handled several of the largest MDLs over the last 10 years.

Peter also handles complex commercial litigation involving the upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors of the oil and gas industry. Peter has experience handling disputes arising from carry agreements, drilling contracts, seismic acquisitions, pipeline construction contracts, transportation agreements and distribution agreements. Peter has represented plaintiffs and defendants in federal and state courts at both the trial and appellate levels.

Peter loves to advocate on his feet, having first- or second-chair experience all over the State of Texas.
