Biography

Stephen Guzzi focuses his practice on patent law issues in the electrical, mechanical and software arts. Stephen provides legal and technology analysis in the context of patent litigation, post-grant proceedings (such as inter partes review) within the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), and licensing matters. He also has more than 15 years of experience preparing and prosecuting US utility patent applications at the USPTO, and guides prosecution of corresponding foreign applications.

Prior to entering the legal field, Stephen developed integrated circuits and electronic systems for leading technology companies. At Maxim Integrated Products, he designed several families of low-power operational amplifiers at the 100 kHz, 1 MHz and 10 MHz bandwidth nodes in a hybrid bipolar-CMOS process. At Standard Motor Products, he developed aftermarket automotive ignition modules.
