Shawnda Smith is a part of the US Compliance Team that oversees client and matter intake and advises Norton Rose Fulbright lawyers on conflict of interest issues and professional responsibility rules.

Our compliance lawyers work closely with our general counsel office as well as with firm partners to support our firm's practice by managing risk for the firm, identifying potential sanctions concerns and navigating client due diligence issues in the context of a global practice. Additionally, Shawnda also assists in the training of the firm's personnel and in educating the firm's lawyers regarding the firm's policies, including our Global Practice Standards.
