Biography
Jasmine O. Yates is a litigation attorney in the Environmental and Mass Tort practice group. She represents clients in complex civil litigation, with experience spanning toxic torts, product liability, personal injury, healthcare regulatory matters and commercial disputes.
Jasmine brings a strong litigation background shaped by her earlier roles. As a former Prosecutor with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, she gained extensive courtroom experience, trying both misdemeanor and felony cases to verdict. She later served as In-House Counsel for the Harris County Attorney’s Office, advising and defending Harris Health System in regulatory and litigation matters.
At Norton Rose Fulbright, Jasmine draws on this broad foundation to manage and defend mass tort and environmental cases. She is known for her ability to efficiently navigate all stages of litigation, develop case strategies aligned with business objectives and communicate with clarity and precision.
