Biography
Dr. Maren Stölting is a real estate lawyer based in Munich. She is Head of Real Estate, Germany.
Maren advises domestic and foreign investors, real estate funds and insurers and regularly provides legal counselling to German and international corporates in the course of real estate transactions by way of asset deals and share deals. She has extensive experience of projects and transactions in the real estate sector, providing advice on the subject of 'property' and issues regarding property and asset management, project development as well as commercial letting/lease law.
In this context, she advised MEAG, the asset manager of Munich Re and ERGO, on the acquisition of three residential complexes in Berlin, Kriton Immobilien GmbH on the acquisition of 11 medical centres in Leipzig, Trammell Crow Company on the development of a commercial and logistics project in Kerpen, the Leonardo Hotel Group on the acquisition of two existing hotels in the Hannover Medical Park, BNP Paribas REIM on the purchase of a Honeycamp property in Mannheim and Real I.S. on the sale of the Georgstor office building in Hamburg.
Prior to her legal studies, she completed a trainee programme at the Bayerische Vereinsbank AG in Munich. She is a graduate of the University of Munich (doctor juris). Maren is also qualified as a specialist lawyer for commercial and corporate law.
