Biography
Anastasia Kastelskaya is a construction and projects lawyer based in Dubai. Her practice focuses on corporate, construction (particularly EPC contracts and PPPA) and competition law. Her experience covers a variety of sectors, including technology, retail, infrastructure, oil and gas (including LNG) and nuclear energy.
Anastasia re-joined the firm in June 2013 from Italian oil and gas industry contractor Saipem, where she worked on a number of EPC projects. Prior to that, she worked in our corporate team, focusing on M&A and capital markets.

- UAE Ministry - on and drafting a supply agreement between two UAE government owned entities.
- EMICOOL - on a Master Agreement with Dubai World Trade Centre for providing district cooling services to EXPO Village, conference and exhibition centre and RTA station.
- UAE Developer - on the Namangan wastewater PPP project in Uzbekistan.
- Tawazun Holding LLC - on the establishment of joint venture with NAMI (Russian research and development automobile and engine institute) and PJSC Sollers (one of the leading Russian OEMs) to develop and manufacture the Aurus range of luxury vehicles. Our role included advising on merger control and foreign investment filings in Russia.
- Bidding consortium - on a healthcare PPP in Dubai, including on the building and services contracts.
- Mubadala - on a number of design contracts in relation to a project in Abu-Dhabi.
- IRC Limited - on the construction by a Chinese contractor of an iron ore processing plant at Kimkan and Sutar deposits in Russian Far East, including advice on implementation of the EPC contract.
- Russian state nuclear corporation Rosatom and its various subsidiaries - on their international projects for construction of nuclear power plants in Egypt, Bangladesh, India, Hungary, China, Belarus (including advice on real estate, design and construction issues, corporate, commercial, regulatory issues).
- The Italian-Turkish JV IC Ictas-Astaldi as the General Contractor - on the implementation of the contract for the extension of Pulkovo International Airport in St Petersburg, Russia's number four airport by number of passengers, including the legal advice in relation to the PPPA and EPC contract.
- The Italian-Turkish JV IC Ictas-Astaldi as the General Contractor - on the implementation of the contract for the construction of the toll motorway in Saint Petersburg, Russia, Western High-Speed Diameter, including the legal advice in relation to the PPPA and EPC contract.
