Global Press release - Business June 2019

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised Haitong International Capital Limited (Haitong) as the sole sponsor and sole global coordinator on the listing of Pujiang International Group Limited (Pujiang) on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Pujiang listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on May 28, 2019 and its initial public offering raised gross proceeds of approximately HK$643.2 million.

Pujiang is the largest provider of bridge cables for the construction of super-long-span bridges in China and the third largest pre-stressed materials manufacturer in China.

Norton Rose Fulbright’s Head of Hong Kong Psyche Tai and partner Doris Ng led the team advising Haitong. Assistance was provided by consultant Allan Yee, associates Elfleda Wong and Raymond Yeung.

Psyche Tai, who was named ‘M&A and Private Equity Lawyer of the Year’ at the 2018 Asia Women in Business Law Awards, commented:

“After a promising start to the year, the outlook for the Mainland China and Hong Kong IPO markets is positive. There is great potential for further listing activity, notwithstanding wider global economic volatility.”
