Norton Rose Fulbright achieves jury victory for Sunoco Partners Lease Acquisition & Marketing LLC

After a six-day trial, a trial team from Norton Rose Fulbright’s Dallas office secured a jury victory in the 192^nd District Court in Dallas County for client Sunoco Partners Lease Acquisition & Marketing LLC against a trial team from Frank Branson’s Law Firm.

Following six days of testimony from more than 14 witnesses and two hours of jury deliberations, the jury returned a full defense verdict in favor of Defendants.

Plaintiffs’ claims stemmed entirely from a trucking accident in Hearne, Texas, from which Plaintiffs alleged the client’s employee was negligent. In connection with those claims, Plaintiffs sought numerous damages, including pain and suffering, mental anguish, disfigurement and others in excess of US$2 million.
