Biography
Ian McGeown is an associate in Norton Rose Fulbright's New York office.
Ian advises a broad range of public and private clients in real estate transactions and development matters across a variety of asset classes, including commercial, retail and industrial. His experience encompasses the financing, and leasing of real property and operating assets, including joint ventures and private equity matters, and he has extensive experience counseling clients on the title insurance of utility-scale solar and wind energy and energy storage projects all across the United States, including mergers and acquisitions and tax-equity financings. Additionally, he advises residential clients in the purchase and sale of residential real property throughout New York City and Long Island.
At law school Ian was a member of the Business Law Scholar's program and active in the Environmental Law Society, with an interest and focus on renewable energy. Ian is a member of the New York City Bar Association.
