Biography

Emmanuelle Yeremou-Ngah is an associate in Norton Rose Fulbright's New York office, and a member of our Global Cybersecurity and Privacy (GCP) group.  With her additional background as a former member of the firm’s Regulations, Investigations, Securities and Compliance (RISC) group, Emmanuelle brings a diverse background in both the public and private sectors, with experience spanning cybersecurity, eDiscovery and privacy, as well as internal and government investigations, regulatory enforcement and securities litigation.

She advises clients on a wide range of cybersecurity and data privacy matters, including incident response, information governance and compliance with global data protection laws.  Emmanuelle also has experience managing complex cross-border investigations involving securities and corporate governance laws, and has supported clients through regulatory inquiries and enforcement actions.

During her first year at the firm, Emmanuelle completed a secondment at HSBC Bank, USA, where she split her time between HSBC's US Litigation team and their Global Investigations and Regulatory Enforcement (GIRE) team. In that role, she handled a variety of civil litigation, investigation and regulatory matters.

Emmanuelle obtained a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice.  While in law school, she interned with the Manhattan District Attorney's Office (DANY), served as a student attorney with the Brooklyn Defender Services through the St. John’s Law Criminal Defense Clinic, and taught as a Diversity Pipeline instructor with Legal Outreach, Inc.  During law school, she also served as an editor on the American Bankruptcy Institute Law Review and competed as a member of the Moot Court Honors Society.  While earning her bachelor's degree, she interned with the Hillsborough Sheriff County's Office, the US Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Florida, as well with the Honorable Reggie B. Walton in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.

Emmanuelle’s diverse legal background and experience equips her to handle complex matters across cybersecurity, privacy, investigations and regulatory compliance. Her ability to collaborate across industries and deliver practical, business-oriented solutions makes her a valuable resource to clients navigating today’s evolving legal and regulatory landscape.
