Emmanuelle Yeremou-Ngah is an associate in Norton Rose Fulbright's New York office and a member of our Regulations, Investigations, Securities, and Compliance (RISC) group. She has a broad range of education and experience in the public and private sectors. Her practice focuses on government and internal investigations, securities litigation, regulatory enforcement, and financial services and regulations. 

She has experience with cross-border government and internal investigations, including investigations related to securities and energy laws, as well as experience with information governance, privacy, cybersecurity, and commercial litigation matters.  

During her first year at the firm, Emmanuelle completed a secondment at HSBC Bank, USA, where she split her time between HSBC's US Litigation team and their Global Investigations and Regulatory Enforcement (GIRE) team, and worked on a variety of civil litigation, investigation, and regulatory matters. 

Prior to joining the firm, Emmanuelle obtained a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice; and while in law school, interned with the Manhattan District Attorney's Office (DANY), worked with the Brooklyn Defenders Services (BDS) as a student attorney in the St. John's Law Criminal Defense Clinic, and was a Diverity Pipeline instructor with Legal Outreach, Inc.  During law school, she also served as an editor on the American Bankruptcy Institute Law Review, and competed as a member of the Moot Court Honors Society. While earning her bachelor's degree, she interned with the Hillsborough Sheriff County's Office, the US Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Florida, as well with the Honorable Reggie B. Walton in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.

Her experience in a variety of legal areas make her well suited for dealing with a wide range of legal matters and working with various stakeholders across many industries.
