Biography
Yi-Ping Chang is a senior associate in the firm’s corporate, M&A and securities practice based in Chicago. He advises U.S. and non‑US issuers and investment banks on US and cross‑border capital markets transactions, SEC reporting and corporate governance, and strategic transactions. Yi-Ping regularly leads capital markets transactions and advises on dual‑track and multi‑jurisdictional executions spanning the United States, Canada and the Asia‑Pacific region. After several years based in Hong Kong with leading international law firms and an in‑house secondment to a major investment bank, Yi-Ping brings a market‑tested perspective to complex, cross‑border matters. His experience covers offerings on the NYSE, NASDAQ and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange across industries including technology, life sciences, consumer, financial services and mobility. In addition to advising on the full lifecycle of capital markets transactions, Yi-Ping counsels boards and senior management on disclosure, periodic reporting and listing requirements, and maintains long‑term relationships with public company clients on governance, policy development and investor communications. Yi‑Ping is admitted to practice in New York and Illinois.
