Norton Rose Fulbright appoints Dr Stefan Feuerriegel as new Head of Germany

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright today announced the appointment of Dr Stefan Feuerriegel as its new Head of Germany, effective January 1, 2021.

Stefan, a real estate partner based in the Hamburg office and a member of the firm’s Europe, Middle East and Asia (EMEA) Management Committee succeeds, Dr Ralf Springer in this leadership role.

Stefan commented: “Under Ralf’s leadership over the past six years, our German practice has grown significantly and enhanced its reputation as a trusted legal adviser. I am honoured to be appointed to this role, particularly at such a critical time as we hope to emerge next year from the pandemic. I look forward to working with all of our German team and colleagues internationally to continue to deliver the highest quality legal services to our clients. Stefan will continue to be part of the real estate practice and act as deputy head for the German corporate team. In his practice, he advises on real estate transactions, real estate project development, commercial tenancy, shopping centre management, hotel management, construction and land law. All the main legal directories and rankings, including JUVE and Legal 500, recognise him as one of the leading real estate lawyers in Germany. Handelsblatt-Best Lawyers has named Stefan real estate lawyer of the year for his work this year in the Hamburg market.

In Germany this year, the firm has expanded with the arrival of lateral partners Sylwia Bea, Christoph Enderstein and Regina Rath in Frankfurt and Philipp Grzimek in Munich. Earlier in the year, three lawyers in Germany were promoted to partner: Bernhard Fiedler in Frankfurt and Constanze Bandilla-Dany and Tim Schaper in Hamburg.
