Ori Noiman
Biography
Ori Noiman has experience serving renewable energy sponsors and private equity investors with various aspects of project development, finance and M&A matters. This includes representing sponsors and tax equity investors in traditional, hybrid "flip" and preferred equity financing structures. He has also advised insurance underwriters in the review of tax credit insurance policies. Ori's practice includes complex Subchapter K, tax credit and US inbound tax technical matters.

- Represented the preferred equity investor in the funding of a US$200 million equity commitment to a wastewater treatment, water reuse and energy recovery-as-a-service company located in Boston, MA.
- Represented the buyer in the acquisition of a utility scale solar and battery energy storage developer and operator located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
- Represented the buyer in the acquisition of a 177 MW combined heat and power facility in Morris, Illinois.
- Represented the preferred equity investor in the US$225 million equity financing of a community-scale battery energy storage developer and owner in the NYC metropolitan area.
- Represented the preferred equity investor in its funding of four utility scale battery energy storage projects in Texas totaling 728 MW.
- Represented the buyer in the acquisition of a minority interest in 2.7 GW portfolio of solar, wind and storage assets consisting of 15 projects in operation across ERCOT, MISO, PJM and SPP.
- Represented the sponsor in the closing of a 400MWh battery energy storage system in California.
- Represented the buyer in the acquisition of a microgrids and distributed energy developer and owner located in Ridgewood, NJ.
- Represented the preferred equity investor in its funding of three utility scale battery energy storage projects in Texas totaling 1 GWh.
