Marie-Geneviève Bélanger's practice covers all aspects of civil and commercial litigation. She also has experience working on internal investigations, some of which received extensive media coverage.

While in law school, Marie-Geneviève  won the Pierre-Basile Mignault moot court competition, where the six Canadian civil law faculties compete against each other. In this competition, Marie-Geneviève 's team won the best tandem award and her university won the best faculty award. Marie-Geneviève also won the award for second best litigator.
