OSHA expectations and priorities under the Biden Administration

President Biden has emphasized his intent to roll back the prior Administration's agenda and to reinvigorate the federal bureaucracy's regulatory reach. Coupled with the overarching federal government response to the COVID-19 pandemic, this is motivating the Department of Labor and its Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) to more aggressively pursue enforcement of health and safety measures in the workplace and to cite employers for perceived violations of established standards and guidelines.
