Cross-border team represents Oxylabs in acquisition of Webshare Software

A cross-border team from Norton Rose Fulbright represented web data gathering solutions provider Oxylabs in its acquisition of Webshare Software (Webshare), an enterprise proxy services company with more than 10,000 active customers, including several Fortune 500 companies.

Under the agreement, Oxylabs will use its extensive industry knowledge and business expertise to further develop Webshare, which will continue to operate as an independent entity. The combined effort serves over 15,000 customers worldwide.

An article in the Lithuanian newspaper Verslo žinios commented that "experts note that this is probably the first case when a Lithuanian company buys a Silicon Valley company, which also shows the maturity of Lithuanian technology businesses."
