United States Press release - People January 21, 2021

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright today announced Judith Archer as the new Co-Partner-in-Charge of its New York office.

Archer, one of three women on the firm's US Management Committee, will work alongside Vince Dunn, who will continue his role as Co-Partner-in-Charge. Steve Suzzan, who has led this office since 2013, recently became the firm's Head of Business Practices for New York.

New York is the firm's largest US office by the number of lawyers and second largest by overall headcount. The law firm's New York practice started in 1902 with the founding of Chadbourne & Parke, which combined with Norton Rose Fulbright in 2017.

Today, the firm's New York lawyers advise clients on a wide range of practices, including: antitrust; commercial litigation; corporate, M&A and securities; employment and labor; employee benefits; energy, infrastructure and environmental; corporate and public finance; financial restructuring and insolvency; healthcare; intellectual property; product liability; projects; real estate; regulation, investigations, securities and compliance; tax; and trusts and estates.

Jeff Cody, Norton Rose Fulbright's US Managing Partner, said:

"Judi is an outstanding leader and lawyer. Judi will help our lawyers to deliver an unmatched client experience in this global financial center. We are delighted to have Judi join Vince to lead the exciting growth of this office, which currently has 235 lawyers and approximately 150 business services personnel."

Archer joined Norton Rose Fulbright in 2005 as a partner and concentrates her practice on complex commercial matters, representing clients in disputes involving contracts, financial services, telecommunications, aviation, cybersecurity, employment, real estate, and bankruptcy. In addition to her role on the US Management Committee, Archer is Norton Rose Fulbright's US hiring partner.

Archer, who also is a member of the firm's Diversity and Inclusion Committee, previously chaired Norton Rose Fulbright's Women in Norton Rose Fulbright (WiN) Network, said:

"I look forward to collaborating with Vince to continue fostering our unique firm culture in the New York office. We will work together closely to make sure that our world-class team enjoys continued success in this critical business market."

Licensed to practice in New York and Connecticut, Archer earned her JD from Fordham University School of Law and her BA from Fordham University.
