Our government contracts team is dedicated to assisting clients through all phases of the procurement process at the federal, state and local levels, including initial government contractor requirements, responding to solicitations, challenging or preserving contract awards, compliance with contractual requirements, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and contract claim litigation.

We have broad experience in all facets of US government contracts law and offer strategic guidance on issues involving transactions, regulatory compliance, litigation, and government audits and investigations, as well as federal grants and cooperative agreements.

We have significant trial experience in bid protest litigation and contract claim litigation, representing clients before the Government Accountability Office (GAO), Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals (ASBCA), Civilian Board of Contract Appeals (CBCA), the US Court of Federal Claims, the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and other tribunals. We also have significant experience in handling False Claims Act and Administrative Procedure Act litigation in various courts throughout the US.

Our team has worked with clients in regards to Buy American and Trade Agreements Act certification, the preservation of data rights, as well as False Claims Act and import/export issues, including Export Administration Regulations and the International Traffic in Arms regulations.

We work closely with colleagues from other practice teams focused on government relations, technology, information governance, privacy and cybersecurity, intellectual property, regulation and investigations, employment and labor, corporate M&A, public finance, projects, real estate, restructuring, and litigation and disputes to meet our clients’ specific needs.

Several members of our team have previous government experience, including roles within the US Department of Justice and US Department of State. This valuable experience allows us to offer an additional perspective when it comes to working with government entities.

With our nuanced understanding of government contracts, we help our clients to streamline the process and effectively manage risk.
