Biography
Caelle Aoun is a project finance associate in the New York office. Her practice involves representing lenders and borrowers in financing domestic and international projects, including infrastructure and renewable energy projects. As part of her practice, she regularly represents clients in connection with tax equity transactions.
Prior to joining Norton Rose Fulbright, Caelle worked as an attorney for six years in Lebanon assisting local and UAE clients in structuring and negotiating legal fund allocations, facilitating private equity transactions and providing comprehensive legal counsel on a range of financial matters.

- Represented the lender in relation to the financing (including a US$131 million tax equity bridge loan, a US$107 million construction loan and a US$42.5 million letter of credit facility) of a battery energy storage project located in McLennan County, Texas.
- Represented the sponsor in relation to the tax equity financing (partnership flip), an approximately 150 MWac solar + 50 MWac/200 MWh battery energy storage facility in Lowndes County, Mississippi and Escalante project, an approximately 200 MWac solar facility in McKinley County, New Mexico.
- Represented the lender in relation to a US$125 million revolving loan to finance the construction of a portfolio of solar projects in Illinois.
- Represented the lender and lead arranger in relation to the US$100 million financing of a portfolio of solar projects located in Illinois.
- Represented lenders in relation to the US$1.3 billion construction debt financing for three utility scale solar photovoltaic projects as part of a Solar facility in Pulaski County, Indiana.
