Biography

Jennifer McDaniel is senior counsel in the Norton Rose Fulbright Healthcare Transactions Group. She has broad health care transaction, regulatory and operational experience working with academic medical centers, health care systems, medical practices and hospitals.

Jennifer maintains a particular focus on graduate medical education (GME) matters, assisting institutions sponsoring GME programs and individual GME programs through the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) accreditation and site visit process.  Jennifer works with institutions and GME programs to conduct GME policy reviews and policy revisions, address ACGME citations, engage in graduate medical education structural analyses and counsel clients on compliance with ACGME Requirements.

In addition to GME matters, Jennifer regularly assists health care clients with Medicare reimbursement matters, contract negotiations and contract drafting.

Prior to re-joining the firm in 2018, Jennifer served as in-house counsel at a pediatric non-profit hospital where she supported the hospital on contract and operations matters.  Jennifer also provided counsel on Medicare and Medicaid enrollment and regulatory compliance issues. She has worked as an attorney advisor with the US Office of Medicare Hearings and Appeals (OMHA) in Irvine, California and has assisted clients through the Medicare appeals process.
