Norton Rose Fulbright ranks fourth on Law360 list of top 20 global law firms

Global Press release - Business July 30, 2019

For the ninth consecutive year, Norton Rose Fulbright was named one of Law360's top global law firms, moving up one spot this year to rank fourth on the legal publication's Global 20 list.

Joining the global law firm in the 2019 top five are Baker McKenzie, White & Case, Allen & Overy and DLA Piper. Norton Rose Fulbright has ranked in the top five in four of the past five years and is one of just four firms to rank in the top 10 for each of the past six years.

"What does it mean to be a global legal powerhouse? These firms have figured it out," Law360 said in an article announcing its rankings. "These firms have a deep bench of attorneys stationed around the globe and are trusted by clients to handle their most challenging cross-border matters, from multibillion-dollar mergers to bet-the-company litigation."

Law360 arrived at its rankings by taking into account the number of offices and lawyers a firm has globally and the variety and complexity of its cross-border work. Firms on the list "are using their global capabilities to help clients navigate contract disputes, infrastructure projects, investments or restructurings that have cross-border implications," Law360 said.

Global 20 firms were ranked based on five factors: the percentage of its lawyers located outside its home country; the number of offices outside its home country; the number of countries where the firm has at least one office; the practice area breadth of its cross-border and international work; and the size and complexity of its cross-border and international work.
