Practice Support Executives (PSEs) and Administrators (PSAs)
Our PSEs and PSAs fall under our Practice Support Office and are a driving force in our business and key to our growth for the future. In fact, there is very little of our work that they do not influence. Our PSEs are actively involved in delivering excellent client service and best placed to adopt a proactive and disciplined approach to diary organisation, managing matters as well as providing valuable marketing support.
Our PSEs and PSAs ensure that Norton Rose Fulbright can run efficiently and effectively.
Practice Support Executives (PSEs)
Our PSEs support an allocation of fee earners. They actively contribute and take responsibility for the support they provide; recognising their teams particular needs. And, because there is no hierarchy here, our PSEs support fee earners at a range of levels, ensuring more variety in their everyday work.
The role of our PSEs is continually developing to meet client demands, being adaptable to work in virtual teams and being key users of new technologies. Today there is a strong emphasis on client focused work and we ensure our PSEs have the opportunity to develop their skills and progress, as well as building close relationships within their team and the wider practice.

We are looking for ambitious individuals who are keen to work collaboratively with a variety of fee earners, Business Services teams and that want to develop new skills and experience different aspects of the business. We constantly invest in developing our PSEs to ensure they are confident, empowered and engaged in being successful in their role. We have developed a Training Academy within the Practice Support Office to ensure the PSEs achieve their ambitions and have access to the right training to achieve their goals. Our Training Academy will continue to be adapted as we move forward to support PSE development and the needs of our clients.
Practice Support Administrators (PSAs)
Our PSAs are responsible for providing high value administrative support across the business; ensuring that the PSEs and fees earners receive the highest quality support and service delivery. Our PSAs have formed strong relationships with the PSEs and continually develop their involvement and knowledge to support the business. Some of the support the PSAs provide ranges from matter management, accounts payable, document work and general administration.
Everyone is able to build on their MOS qualification by undertaking exams in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel. We also offer a selection of Soft Skills courses which includes sessions such as ‘write effective emails’, ‘persuade and influence for success’ and ‘effective networking’.
