On July 8, 2025, the House of Commons Public Bill Committee opened a call for evidence on the Pension Schemes Bill, with written views requested by October 23, 2025, from those with relevant expertise or special interest in the policy areas. The call for evidence follows the Bill’s second reading in the House of Commons on July 7, 2025.
The Committee is set to begin its line-by-line scrutiny of the Bill on September 2, 2025, and the Committee asks for responses to be submitted as soon as possible to enable the Committee to take them into consideration before the October 23, 2025, deadline.
