Jamal is an associate in Norton Rose Fulbright's Projects group, focusing on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and project development in the energy and infrastructure sectors. He represents clients in the development, acquisition, and sale of projects in the U.S. and internationally.

Jamal has experience drafting and reviewing various project agreements, including EPC, construction, operating and maintenance, long-term service, and procurement contracts. He has also served as acting in-house counsel for a leading North American energy storage solutions developer, providing legal advice on M&A transactions, construction agreements, and day-to-day operations.

Active in his community, Jamal serves on the National Advisory Board for GEO Academies and on the Associate Board for Chicago Debates. Jamal is a graduate of Indiana University McKinney School of Law, where he now serves as a member of the law school's Alumni Association Board of Directors.
