Norton Rose Fulbright advises Real I.S. on the acquisition of an office property at Hamburg’s Rödingsmarkt

Germany Press release - Business February 2019

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised Real I.S., BayernLB's, a fund service provider specializing in real estate investments, on the acquisition of an office building in Hamburg located at Rödingsmarkt for its thematic fund called Themenfonds Deutschland II.

The multi-tenant property, revitalised and comprehensively extended in 2011, with a total rental area of around 7,800 square metres and 24 underground parking spaces, is virtually fully let.

The eight-floor building is located on the waterfront and its tenants have a view of the Alsterfleet close by and the Elbphilharmonie concert hall. The property is a contemporary, prestigious office building with a good fit-out and flexible options for partitioning and usage.

Dr Maren Stölting, real estate partner at Norton Rose Fulbright in Munich, comments: “Rödingsmarkt is becoming ever more important in Hamburg and is an ideal site due to its central location. The local area includes a large number of restaurants and shopping facilities and will develop even more in the next years to come. We are happy that we were able to assist Real I.S. in the acquisition of this office building.“

Norton Rose Fulbright have previously advised Real I.S. on the acquisition of the office project called Airfield Office. The team was led by partner Dr Maren Stölting, with assistance from partners Dr Andrea Spellerberg (finance) and Tino Duttiné (tax), of counsels Sabine Meinert (real estate), Dr Jan-Willem Jensen (regulatory law) and Dr Frank Bayer (tax) as well as associates Valentina Navetta, Stefanie Mösges (both real estate) and Matthias Zimmermann (finance).
