Sergios Karotsieris is a banking and corporate lawyer based in Athens. His main areas of practice are banking, financial regulation, capital markets, corporate and collective investment schemes.  Before joining our office in Athens, Sergios worked in a leading Greek legal practice in Athens. He is a member of the Athens Bar Association.

He studied law at the University of Athens, obtained an LL.M. in Greek private law from the University of Athens, an LL.M. in Banking Law and Financial Regulation from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), a PON from Harvard Law School, a Ph.D. in Medical Law from Panteion University (Athens, Greece) and a Ph.D. in Banking Law from the University of Athens.

Sergios is fluent in Greek, English and French, while he has a good knowledge of Spanish and German.
