London team advises Munich Re Group and ERGO on sale of D.A.S. UK to ARAG Group

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised Munich Re Group and ERGO Versicherung AG on an agreement to sell ERGO’s UK legal protection insurance business, D.A.S. UK, to the ARAG Group, subject to regulatory approvals.
ERGO is one of the largest insurance groups in Europe and is represented in more than 25 countries worldwide. ERGO is a member of the Munich Re global insurance and reinsurance group.
The multi-disciplinary Norton Rose Fulbright team advising on the deal was led by Partner Matt Foster and included Senior Associate David Bartlett, Associates Tegan Lambert-Smith and Jess Bruneau and Trainees Kimberly Stiegler and Simeon Pavlov.
