Norton Rose Fulbright bolsters intellectual property team with partner appointment

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has announced the appointment of intellectual property (IP) partner Jonathan Ball, who re-joins the firm’s IP practice in London.

Jonathan, who was previously an IP partner and head of risk advisory, Europe, Middle East and Asia (EMEA) at the firm, has over 20 years’ experience advising clients on a range of IP disputes, with a particular focus on patent enforcement. He re-joins the firm from Gowling WLG.

Jonathan advises clients across a range of sectors, particularly in life sciences and technology. In addition to advising on contentious IP matters, Jonathan has extensive experience in assisting clients with major cyber security and data compromise incidents, especially in relation to crisis management. Jonathan worked as a biochemist before entering the law and is ranked as a leading IP practitioner in legal directories, including Chambers & Partners and Intellectual Asset Management
