Dr Michael Sinclair is a technology lawyer based in London. He is the Knowledge Director for Campaigns and is also Head of Knowledge, IT/IP.

Michael focuses on emerging and disruptive techologies, with a particular focus on Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain / Distributed Ledger Technology, Smart Contracts, the Internet of Things, FinTech and Quantum Computing.

He has a PhD in law from the University of Cambridge, where he taught law (Gonville & Caius College and Trinity Hall), and has held a full-time lecturing post in law at Edinburgh University.  Michael returned to legal practice and became a partner and head of the London Technology, Media and Telecommunications department of another leading law firm. He has published numerous articles on a range of disruptive technologies and has co-authored a number of textbooks on outsourcing and technology.
