Norton Rose Fulbright advises AnaCap Financial Partners on investment in brokerage group MRH Trowe and growth partnership

Germany Press release January 2021

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised AnaCap Financial Partners (AnaCap) on its investment in brokerage group MRH Trowe.

MRH Trowe is one of the ten largest industrial brokers in Germany and manages a premium volume of more than €300 million with 470 employees at 12 locations in Germany, generating approximately €60 million in run-rate revenues in 2020. As an owner-managed group, MRH Trowe shows impressive, steady annual growth of over 20%. With AnaCap at its side MRH Trowe now has a highly experienced investor and partner specialized in the financial sector, who will in particular provide targeted support to MRH Trowe's management in its further "buy-and-build" strategy as part of the future growth partnership.

The Norton Rose Fulbright team supporting AnaCap was, like for the successful investment in payment services provider Heidelpay (now Unzer), again led by Munich-based private equity partner Frank Henkel (M&A/private equity). The team also included partners Eva-Maria Barbosa (insurance, Munich) and Dr Tim Schaper (foreign direct invest, Hamburg).  The team was supported by counsels Corinna Baltzer (insurance, Frankfurt), Dr Nicolas Daamen (M&A/private equity, Munich), Claudia Posluschny (employment, Munich) and Oliver Polster (stock corporation law, Hamburg). The team included Munich based associates Johannes Diez, Alexander Mathes, Aurelius Haag (all M&A/private equity), Michaela Zenkert, Olivia Reinke (both employment) and Dr Nikolaus Wank (disputes).
