Biography

Dr. Tobias Teichner is an antitrust and competition lawyer based in Hamburg.

He advises national and international clients on all aspects of German and European antitrust law. He represents clients before the German Federal Cartel Office, the European Commission and German and European courts.

One focus of his work is merger and investment control. He advised on a large number of transactions and obtained clearances from the relevant cartel authorities and the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection. Most recently, he advised on a large transaction in the agricultural wholesale sector, which was cleared on the basis of remedies.

He also regularly defends clients in cartel and abuse proceedings and assists clients in cartel damages proceedings.

Tobi has studied law at the University of Hamburg and abroad at the Charles University of Prague.

He holds a doctoral degree from the Bucerius Law School.
